Our Beliefs

1. SCRIPTURES: We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testament is the complete, inerrant, infallible revelation from God and is verbally inspired of God. We believe the 1611 King james Authorized Bible is God's preserved Word for the English speaking people today. (2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21)
   
   
2. GOD THE FATHER: We believe that God is Supreme in His person, eternal in His being, absolute in His attributes, glorious in His perfection. We believe in the Trinity. (Deut. 6:4, Matt 28:19, 1 John 5:7)
   
   
3. GOD THE SON: We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, the virgin birth, His deity and sinless life, His vicarious death, His bodily resurrection and ascension, and His Personal, Premillennial Return. (Isa. 7:14, Luke 1:35, Eph. 1:7, Rom. 5:8, Acts 1:9-10, 1 John 3:1-2)
   
   
4. GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT: We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and that He executes the plan of God for our convition and salvation. Christinas are partakers of the Holy Spirit and empowered for service by Him. (John 16:8-11, Eph. 1:13-14, 1 Cor. 12:12-14, Titus 3:5)
   
   
5. THE FALL OF MAN: We believe that man was created in the image of God, and by choice, fell into sin and death, hence every person is sinful and under condemnation to eternal judgement. (Gen. 1:26-27, Rom. 3:10,22-23, 5:12, 6:23)
   
   
6. THE SALVATION OF SINNERS: We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace, and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. The condition of salvation is repentance toward God and Faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work. (John 1:12, 3:15-18, 1Peter 1:18-19)
   
   
7. THE SECURITY OF THE BELIEVER: We believe that those who receive Jesus Christ as Saviour are eternally secure. Our security rests on the finished work of Jesus Christ. (John 10:27-30, Rom. 8:1, Eph. 4:30)
   
   
8. THE CHURCH: We believe that the visible Church is a congregation of baptized believers, practicing New Testament principles, believing its doctrine, and observing its ordinances, and exercing its autonomy. (Matt. 18:20, Eph. 5:25-33, 1 Cor. 12:12-14)
   
   
9. HEAVEN AND HELL: We believe in the eternal blessedness of the saved in Heaven and the eternal punishment of the lost in Hell. (Dan. 12:2, Matt. 25:46, Rev. 20:13-13, 2 Cor 5:8, John 14:1-3)
   
   
10. DIVORCE AND REMARRIAGE: We believe that God's intent for marriage is one man and one woman for life. We believe the scriptures teach against divorce and those who have been divorced and remarried can serve the Lord and be used by Him. The scriptures teach that those who are divorced and remarried are forbidden to hold the office of a bishop and/or deacon. (Mal. 2:14-17, Matt. 19:3-12, 1 Tim. 3:2)
